White's Mercantile

a one-stop shop, founded by a country legend’s daughter

At the end of 12th Avenue South in Nashville, at the very edge of its eponymous 12 South neighborhood, is White’s Mercantile, a shop where visitors can find gifts for friends back home and where Nashville locals pick through a highly curated collection of clothing, accessories, and homewares.

Inspired by her the Louisiana mercantile her great-grandfather owned and spurred on by the success of her first shop, H.Audrey, singer/songwriter (and daughter of country legend Hank Williams Jr) Holly Williams opened White’s Mercantile in 2013. She wanted a shop that encompassed everything you’d need for every room in your home, all tinged with that pure Nashville feel. Now there are three other locations as well, but 12 South, taking up every square inch of an old filling station, is our favorite.
