Just as rare jewels are tough to come by, so are jewelry designers who create an entire collection by hand. Adam Foster is a shining exception. Raised in St. Louis, Adam received his bachelor of fine arts in metalsmithing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He came home and has since created a loyal following of customers who appreciate his show-stopping works of art.
According to Adam, “Jewelry should reflect the wearer, with individuality being of utmost importance.”
Adam’s aesthetic is a study in contrasts — past and present, traditional and contemporary, delicate and bold. His work makes a conscious nod to the Old World and its jewelry-making techniques. But Adam’s mastery lies in the way he marries tradition with the latest technology to create timeless, yet modern pieces.
